We are here to discuss larger family concept given by Gurudev. Today people want to live in single family and do not want interference of parents in their life. Single family has comparatively less benefit rather than more loss. In single family husband and wife is responsible for taking care of child, So it become more tensed when both parent are professional working. In that condition parents has to left their child in child care center which is mostly available in metros, but not available in small cities and town. This is the major loss which has to bear our Indian single family.
So today's generation need to rethink about the constituted or joined family. We have to learn to live with our friends, family, neighbors with accepting their behaviors. This is necessary for our children mental ability and social behavior development. This is not a tough task if we rethink about this. We must live with different-2 people with accepting their different views, religion, and beliefs toward life. That will make sense of Unity and Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam.
Here larger family doesn't meant to Old type of Joint family where Parents enforce their children to follow rules and regulation whether it is right or wrong, and without caring of their child emotions..
Whether this Modern larger family concept says that Parents need to adjust their views and thoughts according to their children and has to accept it easily so that new generation does not feel uneasy to show their views and concept in front of them. Parents has to listen them and give opportunity to speak, and can show their emotions in front of them. This will make a bonding of confidence between them that will become more stronger.
