निष्ठा की परख (Test of Loyalty)

मनुष्य के उच्चस्तरीय आदर्शों एवं सिद्धांतों पर निष्ठा की परख

ऐसे अवसरों पर होती है जब स्वार्थ, लोभ और मोह की परिस्थिति

याँ प्रस्तुत होती हैं । सिद्धांतों एवं आदर्शों की कोरी बातें करना एक

बात है पर उनका पालन करना उतना ही कठिन और एक सर्वथा

भिन्न बात है । समाज में आदर्शों एवं सिद्धांतों की चर्चा करने वालों

की कमी नहीं जो इन्हें भी वाक्-विलास का साधन और प्रतिष्ठा

अर्जित करने का एक सरल माध्यम मात्र मानते हैं । पर ऐसे व्यक्ति

स्वार्थ, मोह एवं लोभ का आकर्षण प्रस्तुत होते ही फिसलते-गिरते

अपनी गरिमा गँवाते देखे जाते हैं । जिन्हें आदर्शों के प्रति आस्था

होती है वे इन क्षणिक आकर्षणों से प्रभावित नहीं होते और अपनी

न्याय प्रियता, कर्त्तव्य निष्ठा का परिचय देते हैं । ऐसे व्यक्तियों

से ही समाज और देश गौरवान्वित होता है । पतन पराभव के प्रवाह

के बहती भीड़ से अलग हटकर वे उल्टी दिशा में अपनी राह बनाते हैं ।

मणि मुक्तकों की भाँति चमकते तथा असंख्यों को प्रेरणा प्रकाश देते हैं ।

बड़े से बड़े प्रलोभन भी उन्हें डिगा नहीं पाते । समाज और राष्ट्र की सबसे

मूल्यवान संपदा ऐसे ही व्यक्तित्व होते हैं जो कर्त्तव्यों का निर्वाह हर

कीमत पर करते हैं ।

                                         “Test of Loyalty

A man’s loyalty and adherence to high morals and principles

is put to test only during occasions of selfishness, greed or

attachment. To merely talk about ideals and principles is one

thing but to implement them and to put into practice is very

difficult and entirely a different matter. In the society, there

is no dearth of people who go on talking about morals and

principles – who have made it a tool for rhetorical oratory

to achieve easy and cheap fame. But such people are easily

lured by worldly attractions, selfish motives and attachments,

and lose their grace. Those who are confident in their own

morals and principles, never get impressed by such transient

attractions but go on showing their honesty and sincerity. The

country and the society are proud of such people only. Against

the gushing flow of downfall and defeat, they carve their path

in the opposite direction. They shine like gems and pearls and

inspire thousands. Even the biggest attractions can not deviate

them from their path of truth. The real invaluable wealth of any

society or a nation is such a person who carries out his duty with

complete loyalty and sincerity at any cost.
